There are various ways you can help Gift to Nature as a volunteer.
We rely on conservation volunteers to help with many tasks. You can learn a range of new skills and it’s a great way to keep fit while also helping care for our beautiful countryside. Our ranger, Nick, provides professional expertise and supervision to our volunteer teams so you will be in safe hands.
We also need people who are happy to regularly visit the site be our “eyes and ears”, this means we can respond much quicker to issues. We’re looking for people who regularly visit one or more of our sites who can provide us with feedback on issues we need to deal with, and perhaps do a little bit of litter-picking when you pass through.
There are also opportunities for volunteers to help with some of the administrative work of Gift to Nature, promoting our events, updating social media, taking photos. If you have appropriate skills and time available to help we can probably find a role to suit.
Whatever your volunteering interests please get in touch with us and we’ll let you know if we have any suitable opportunities at the moment.
If you don’t have time to spare at the moment you can still help be part of Gift to Nature by becoming one of our regular supporters. Even giving a few pounds each month can make a real difference, with your donation being invested in site management and improvement work to benefit site visitors and look after our precious wildlife.
