Our wonderful team of volunteers, in their various ways, are all contributing to the charities work; to the preservation and development of various countryside and heritage sites across the Isle of Wight.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering with Gift to Nature is the perfect opportunity to be part of a friendly team – helping to promote and conserve the Islands beautiful and unique countryside and heritage.
A chance to use your skills and learn new ones, spend time and share your interests with other like-minded people.
Studies have shown the many health benefits of being out and about in nature.
When?
Whether you join us for a few hours once a week, a day a month, or for the occasional event or project, your contribution will be very much appreciated!
How?
If you like to get outdoors and close to nature, you might choose to work with our rangers out in the countryside; conserving, developing and maintaining wildlife habitats and leisure trails.
Please get in touch with us and we’ll let you know if we have any suitable opportunities at the moment. Please have a read of our volunteer policy and download our volunteer registration form to complete and return.
If you don’t have time to spare at the moment you can still help be part of Gift to Nature by becoming one of our regular supporters. Even giving a few pounds each month can make a real difference, with your donation being invested in site management and improvement work to benefit site visitors and look after our precious wildlife.
