walking trailsThe Island is a Mecca for walkers and cyclists , with over 520 miles of footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways. From town heritage trails to the coastal path, there is something for all abilities and tastes. There are numerous walking guides and maps available, including a number produced by us. In May each year the Island hosts the country’s largest walking festival, with hundreds of guide-led walks, including a large number of special interest walks.  In September you can enjoy the annual Cycling Festival with lots of guided rides and cycling activity.
